Requirements:

  • Well-organized, and committed to continuous learning and growth.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office. Digital skills preferred. Opportunity to learn as needed (eg: Canva, Mailchimp, Constant Contact). Expertise with data analytics (SEM, SEO, Google Analytics, etc.) would be a value add.
  • Show up on time, ready to work, and be accountable for results.
  • Commitment to personal and professional ethics.
  • Personal access to computer and WiFi.
  • Keep a log of daily activities and projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality on all LH&A company, client, candidate information and data.
  • Show initiative by volunteering for projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain corporate website using WordPress (opportunity to learn if not already familiar)
    • Write, create, and track newsletters and email campaigns via Constant Contact and MailChimp to share with subscribers via website, LinkedIn Groups, and other channels.
    • Collect, research, and update resources for job seekers/clients and databases for sourcing candidates/clients.
    • Create content and infographics for presentations.
    • Search qualified candidates for openings through LinkedIn and other sources.
    • Write job specs and post openings on websites, LinkedIn groups, and other channels.
    • Research companies for new business development
    • Participate in industry events, including Tony P’s Networking events, Chicago Innovation, Emeritus, and Wine & Webinar
    • Create and deliver final presentation including content, graphics, and visuals at the end of the internship.
    • Communicate with president daily about the ongoing activities.
